These terms cover purchases of The Benefits Checklist and any optional State Benefits Pack from Main Street Dollars. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
What you are buying
The Benefits Checklist is a digital information product. The core purchase delivers three PDF downloads: the 51-page guide (including the 50-state office directory), a printable application tracker, and an open-settlements insert that is refreshed weekly.
If you choose the optional State Benefits Pack at checkout, it is a separate, state-specific PDF. Its price and state are shown before payment, and its checkbox starts unchecked.
Price, tax and payment
The price shown at checkout is a one-time payment. Any required sales tax is calculated from the ZIP code entered and is shown before payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe; PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Card details never pass through or remain on this website. A card statement will show RETIREMENT GUIDES.
Delivery and access
After a successful payment, private download links appear immediately and are emailed to the purchase address. The links may be used again later. The open-settlements link returns the newest published insert. Refunded orders lose access to their download links.
Free 2027 update
The 2027 edition is included with the core purchase at no extra charge. When it is published, it will be sent to the email address used for the purchase. This does not require newsletter enrollment.
Optional newsletter
Newsletter enrollment is optional and is not required to buy or receive the product. The newsletter box starts unchecked. If you check it, you can unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
30-day refund
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Reply to the receipt or email [email protected]. Refunds return to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days. Download access is disabled after a refund.
What the guide is, and is not
The guide organizes public information about government and nonprofit benefit programs. It does not submit applications, guarantee eligibility or guarantee an agency decision. Every program described can be applied for directly without buying this guide. The guide is educational information, not financial, legal, tax, medical or benefits advice.
Main Street Dollars is not affiliated with or endorsed by Social Security, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the IRS or any other government agency.
